This Privacy Policy explains how Moujazz Studio ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Moujazz news application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive basic account information from your Google account, including your name, email address, and profile photo. We may also collect app usage information such as the articles and topics you interact with, and technical data such as device type, operating system version, and app version.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, to personalize your news feed, to sync your preferences across devices, to improve the App, and to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not use your information to display advertising.
3. Firebase and Google Services
The App uses Google Firebase to provide core functionality. This includes Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in, Cloud Firestore for storing your preferences and content, and Firebase services for reliable delivery and diagnostics. Your use of these services is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. Google Sign-In
We use Google Sign-In to authenticate you. We only request the minimum profile information required to identify your account and personalize your experience. We do not access your Google contacts, files, or any data beyond your basic profile and email address.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers, such as Google Firebase, that help us operate the App, and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, relying on the security infrastructure provided by Google Firebase. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from within the App or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App.
